From the 1960's onwards Montreal has hosted a series of prestigious international events including the 1967 World's Fair, the 1976 Olympic Summer Games and the Floralies internationals of 1980. I was able to get a good dosage of Canadian spirit while taking part in the wild cheering and numerous Mexican waves that accompanied a game of ice hockey. Opened to the public is 1996 the Bell Centre is the setting of an ongoing battle between the Teams of the National Hockey League. Here I watched intently the renowned Montreal Canadians aggressively contest and eventually gain an extremely victorious defeat against the Florida Panthers.
